Why It's Important to Drink Water and How Much You Should Drink Every Day

The water you drink helps to flush all the toxins out of your body and cleanses your body from the inside. It works as a lubricant for the organs that detoxify your body. Water is an essential component in living a healthy lifestyle. JUST DRINK IT!

At a minimum, each person should consume half of their body weight in ounces of water daily.

For example, if you weigh 150 lbs. You would need to drink 75 oz. of water daily.

Your Weight(lbs)/2 = Minimum amount of daily water intake (oz.)

However, you want to be certain that you are considering the amount you lose when you sweat or perform strenuous activities. You should try to add 12 ounces for every 30 minutes of activity.

Signs that your body needs more water include:

💧Dry, itchy eyes

💧Fatigue

💧Frequent headaches

💧Weight gain

💧Constipation

💧Getting sick with the flu or colds

Sure, there are pills that can help most of these ailments, but what if they could be fixed by simply drinking more water. Amazing, right!?!

Hydration is so important to all of our body systems. In order for them to function properly we need to give them the basic tools they need. In this case, water!

Another win for water.. it is AMAZING for your skin. Water plumps up your skin cells leaving your skin less prone to wrinkles and breakouts.

You do want to be sure you consume clean, filtered water.  I have been using the Berkey for years and you could not pay me to give it up!

I know, I know, water is SO boring, but there are so many ways you can switch it up so you don’t get bored. Infusing fruit, veggies and even herbs can give you a fresh take on water. Sparkling waters and herbal teas also offer excellent alternatives!
